Sangha Seeds has an active Potato Breeding Program and has been developing its own varieties since more than 35 years. The focus is to breed varieties that are early bulking (short duration) & highly adaptive.
Sangha Seeds supplies table and seed potatoes of all released Indian varieties as well as some exotic varieties apart from its own hybrids. The range varies from Super Early Maturing to Main Season varieties, red skinned to white skinned, white flesh colour to yellow flesh colour.
Sangha Seeds has R&D tie-ups with three European Potato Seed companies and has a number of visiting scientists and consultants from Europe and the US.
Our covered drying, grading & sorting area for potatoes is in excess of ten acres which is required for bulk dispatches of seed in the potato planting season.
We have a fleet of 161 tractors, 28 Jeeps & 56 motor cycles operating on our farms. We are the largest buyers of a popular US brand of tractors worldwide.
